The amazing caretakers Yobany and Melba live on the property and are there to help and assist in whatever you need. Melba is available for basic morning housekeeping services or all day including meal preparations. Yobany is an excellent BBQ’er. Their word is the law at Tutasua.

The pantry has some basic things that have been left behind by other guests but its best to bring what you want to cook. Having said that our garden offers a variety of seasonal vegetables and fruits and the two towns close to us have just about everything you could want. For really unique things or special meats, cheeses and such definitely bring them from Carulla or a good supermarket.

Melba has a few dishes she makes very well. Delicious colombian eggs. Typical Ajiaco, Sancocho, oven chicken, beans, rice, trout, good salads, pan fried meats, patacones, yuca, platano maduro, papas al horno, cuajada con melado, platano maduro con bocadillo, postre de uchua, mermelada de freijoa.

We are the only vacation rental property that provides private access to the Lake. Our Boat Club is about 1 mile away and you can launch your own sailboat, kayak, etc. You can also rent, get taken out or receive classes. The clubhouse has a ping pong table, pool table and a soccer field. Access to the Club is U.S $5/day/person and is for house guests only. Please behave responsibly and respectfully. No drunken, loud or inappropriate behavior tolerated.

Must be over 30 to rent. NO SMOKING. No events without prior authorization and additional charges. This is not a party house. No parties. Day guests (visitors), are limited to 6 and only between 10 am and 6 pm. Pets - see next section. Overnight guests max is 8 adults plus 2 kids. More than 8 requires prior approval. Did we already mention: NO SMOKING inside or outside by any furniture!!!! If you break any rule you will be evicted, your deposit forfeited, and no rent moneys returned.

We love dogs!! And of course your dog is the most special and always behaves well. This is a farm: dogs get wet, muddy, their coats full of insects and dirt, so …they are NOT allowed inside this house, except for the W&D room and the guest bathroom. 3 Dog gates are provided so they don’t feel alone. No aggressive breeds allowed. Zero tolerance for any pets in the house -on furniture, beds, carpets, etc. See Rules on consequences. Dog fee is U.S. $10/night.
